WELCOME

The journal is supported by Nordic funding agencies for the Humanities and it is acknowledged by the official museums associations in Denmark, Finland, Island, Norway and Sweden. Its articles are published in Danish, Norwegian or Swedish. English titles and summaries are provided. Occasionally full texts in English are offered. Thus the journal should be of interest also to the museum community outside the Northern countries.

The Internet edition should make the retrieval of articles and summaries easy. The editors also hope that as a result an increasing contact and exchange of ideas and research activities in museology could develop between museologists in the North and colleagues all over the world.
